Carrington Coast Ranch

Sonoma County, California

Zander Westbrook Design is working with WRA Environmental Consultants to prepare a comprehensive master plan for a future regional park on the Sonoma County coast. Our team’s work includes a campground feasibility study, design for a portion of the California Coastal Trail, and the design of a ranch-wide trail network, including the realignment and decommissioning of existing ranch roads and mowed pathways. The plan will balance sensitive species, wetlands, and historic resources while providing much-needed access to this portion of the coast.

Carrington Coast Ranch is part of the historic homelands of the Coast Miwok. The 335-acre land will eventually open to the public as a Regional Park and Open Space Preserve along the Sonoma Coast in the Coastal Zone, just north of Salmon Creek.
