Dias Ridge Trail Entry Design

Marin County, California

Zander Westbrook Design completed a trail entry redesign for this popular hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding trail. Design efforts were coordinated with different trail users, the construction team, and the land agency. The design provided for both a narrowed entry and a wider “waiting” zone. The redesign focused on increasing safety and visibility for each user type, while ensuring the trail is accessible for users with mobility devices.
