At Zander Westbrook Design (formerly Zander Design), we believe everyone should have safe and inviting access to a network of beautiful spaces. We bring inclusion and understanding to our projects by listening to all the voices and collaborating on solutions that balance needs. Sofia Zander, PLA

Sofia (she/her) is a California licensed landscape architect (PLA #5363) and planner with two decades of experience in public and private practice focusing on public parks, trails, bikeways, and complete streets design. She loves working on projects that contribute to creating a world where everyone has access to safe and comfortable active transportation options, outdoor recreation facilities, and natural areas.
Liz Westbrook

Liz (she/her) is a trail planner and designer with over 12 years’ experience in nonprofit and private practice. Her work has focused on regional trail and conservation planning, trail design and construction throughout the Bay Area. She has facilitated stakeholder planning and design in complex public access and open space projects. Passionate about managing, planning, and advocating for equitable public access through thoughtful design, education and community involvement.
Nela Rullan, ASLA

Nela (she/her/ella) is a landscape designer and architect with eight years of experience. Her journey spans nonprofits and community projects to high-end residential designs, all focused on creating inclusive, beautiful spaces for everyone. At Zander Westbrook, Nela aims to create equitable spaces that inspire connections and reflect the diverse needs of the community. She loves nature and animals and celebrates the richness and diversity of all cultures.
Rocio Chavez

Rocio (she/her) is a landscape designer with experience working in small community-scale to master plan-scale projects. Rocio brings her expertise for graphic design, CAD and knowledge of California native plants to the Zander Westbrook team. Rocio is passionate about the planning, design, and building of natural spaces.
Anaolga Macnaughton

Anaolga (she/her) is an administrative steward with experience supporting schools, creative teams, and mission-driven organizations. She brings her strengths in organization, systems management, and clear communication to the Zander Westbrook team. With a background spanning project management, digital platforms, and creative production, she is skilled at keeping operations running smoothly and building structures that support both people and projects. She is passionate about creating efficient, thoughtful systems that help teams do their best work.
Claire Adams

Claire (she/her) is a landscape designer who joins the practice with varied experience in fabrication, specification and design. She brings an eye for details, an interest in storytelling and a knowledge of graphic design and cartography to Zander Westbrook. She is excited to design trails and spaces that bring people into greater understanding and connection with their world.
